MicroPure Micron Depth Spa Filter

  • Saves maintenance time & reduces chemical and filter costs for customers

Filtration is based on 2 standards elements, Micron Rating (The size of the particles that are being filtered) and Efficiency (The percentage of particles above a certain size that are stopped by the filter), not square ft of filtration. Our micron disposable filters have the highest rating in both Micron and Efficiency Rating than any pool and spa filter on the market today.

How to use:

Installation:
For filters not using MAC adaptors - Simply insert into your spas filter housing in place of the original pleated filter
For filters with MAC adaptors - Simply screw the assembled MAC core/core end into the filter housing, slip the MicroPure filter over the core and fit the MAC lid.
These filters are DISPOSABLE - it is not possible to clean them - simply leave in place for the duration of their lifespan (check frequently if the spa is in heavy use)
Replacement:
Replace when the filter is blocked, or after 3-5+ months when you drain/refill your spa. We recommend you leave your MicroPure Depth Filter in the spa for 1 extra week AFTER you refill your spa (unless using a hose attached 1 micron Pre-Filter) - this causes the water supply contaminants to foul your old filter, instead of the new one, thus prolonging the effective life of the new filter.
MicroPure Depth Filters are meant to have an effective life of 3-5+ months of normal spa usage. This can however be prolonged significantly with extra care, or significantly decreased to just weeks if proper care is ignored.

Limitations: MicroPure Micron Depth Filters are simply the finest filtration available for spas, however (as with anything) if not properly cared for, they can foul prematurely.
Some points to take note of:
Maintain proper water balance always
Maintain correct levels of sanitiser
Bath, prior to using the spa - this reduces the amount of body oils, skin, hair, lotions, hairspray, etc that will enter the spa and clog the filter
Do not introduce foreign products such as oils, etc that will clog the filter
You must not use enzymes, brighteners, clarifiers, coagulating agents, or stain & scale preventers - again, these will clog the filter
Use only the following chemicals - Sanitiser, Shock, pH & Total Alkalinity Control - that's it !
It may be wise to keep an older used filter on hand to use when you have a party (or heavy bather use) - let the old filter clog up, before refitting your current filter once good spa condition has returned. Failure to follow this point can result in extremely short filter life.
All the above will extend the effective life of your MicroPure Depth Filter and provide excellent spa water quality.
