Waterway 2" diverter valve cap - new Buttress style thread - "BUTTRESS" stamped on underside. Available in white or grey - Notched (rear left), Scalloped (rear right), or Elite 5 Point Scallop (front).
These all interchange with each other - however the handle shape and texture is different and suits each cap style - if swapping cap style, the handle will also require replacement.
A difference can also be seen on the body. The Buttress style diverter valves have a space above the top of the thread on the valve body, the old style does not.
Diameter of cap - 95mm, Height of the thread - 16mm, Cap Thread diameter 69.5mm ID

Buttress Thread - is a thread that is sloped on one side only, other side being at 90 degrees to the body of the thread.
