Low profile polished chrome suction cover.
1.5" / 40mm socket elbow fitting for water connection and 1/2" / 15mm air vacuum break port.
96mm diameter face with 6mm profile.
Hole size required - 70mm.
MUST be used as a pair.
How it works - if the suction becomes blocked with the pump running, air is drawn through the air valve into the suction fitting, and through into the pump.
This introduction of air into the pump causes pump cavitation and loss of suction at the spa bath suction fitting, making it easy to unblock.
ie if a person was to sit against the suction fitting, they could simply move away from it. Without a vac break setup, it's possible that they can remain trapped against the suction fitting because of the pumps suction strength.
How to install - Drill the hole to 70mm diameter, fit the suction fitting to the bath and seal with silicon through the 2 'funnel' ports on the body.
Glue the 40mm pipe to the pump. Glue the 90 degree barb adaptor into the vac break port on the suction body and run the clear tubing above water level, connect it to the straight barb adaptor glued into the air valve which you can attach to the spa shell with fibreglass or to the metal/timber bath framing with a saddle clamp.
