NB Do not assume the same colours match when using this connector. 
2 speed pump wiring colours can vary and are often transposed. Incorrect connection may lead to damage to the motor, circuit board or blown fuse. 
In particular low and high speed can be Black/Brown or Brown/Black. The wiring on the motor terminals needs to be checked and matched to corresponding colours on the extended plug.

Wire Colours - Cords of all Plug types can be supplied with different inner wire colour combinations. All are perfectly fine to use but can be confusing. 
Correct colour coding depends on Aus/euro or North American colour coding

North American cords
Earth - Green 
Neutral - White
Low Speed of a 2 speed pump - Black
High Speed of a 2 speed pump - Red

Australia/Europe cords
Earth - Green or Green/Yellow 
Neutral - Blue
Low Speed of a 2 speed pump - Black (or Brown)
High Speed of a 2 speed pump - Brown (or Black)
Pumps from LX and Davey/Spaquip - reversed factory supplied cord colours as follows:
Low Speed - Brown 
High Speed - Black
Care must be taken when changing cords on these pumps to ensure the correct configuration (this may mean switching colours for low/high speed - Neutral and Earth always remain the same)

*Tighten with spanners to ensure waterproofing, strain relief and prevent unscrewing by hand.
Ensure cables are stripped sufficiently and held tight with the terminal latches closed.
