To remove these jet internals - insert a screwdriver inside the eyeball, into plastic D ring, pull screwdriver blade towards centre to unlock the jet - simply pull out. Do not lever with very much force or the D ring will snap.

To install these jet internals - the locking tab on the side of the jet barrel must either be depressed by hand or using a screwdriver into the D ring to insert the jet barrel into the body. Do not lever with very much force or the D ring will snap.
If the new jet internal 'bottoms out' in the jet body before it can engage the locking tab, you may need to cut a little length off the rear tail of the jet internal.

We cannot warrant these jets against damage to the internal D ring - they are very easily snapped/broken. These jets are 30+ years old.
