Also replaces previous heaters on ALL models from 1995 with electronic temperature sensors, including 4 barrel heaters and trumpet tri-bend shaped heaters.

For models from 2003 fitted with built in pressure switch (2nd small gauge wire from the heater) - you need to purchase an alternate model with flow switch.

Has 2 x temperature sensor locations - hi limit and control.
3/4" barbs for plumbing tubing connection

*As Hot Spring spas generally have no flow/pressure switch protection, its extremely important that you ensure water has flooded the heater and is flowing through the plumbing (primed) after installation and after every drain/refill.
Failure of the heater due to 'Dry Running' will likely result if the heater has not properly primed. This is not a manufacturing defect and therefore not a warranty covered failure.
